You have been transformed intellectually and personally, and have successfully functioned in a culture entirely different from your own. The person you are now returning from abroad is not the same person who left in the first place. Then My covenant may also be broken with David My servant and with My ministers the Levites who are priests, so that David will not have a son to reign on his throne.Just as studying abroad demanded a number of lifestyle changes, so too does returning home. "This is what the LORD says: If you can break My covenant with the day and My covenant with the night, so that day and night cease to occupy their appointed time, Though the mountains may be removed and the hills may be shaken, My loving devotion will not depart from you, and My covenant of peace will not be broken," says the LORD, who has compassion on you. I will forever preserve My loving devotion for him, and My covenant with him will stand fast. My companion attacks his friends he violates his covenant.
Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps His covenant of loving devotion for a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commandments. "I won't break my agreement or go back on my word. Neither will I by any means profane my covenant and I will not make void the things that proceed out of my lips.
